The 2012 Norwegian Chapionship was held at Hverven Raceway near Oslo who hosted the EC-A in 2003. The cool weather made the track superfast and we saw laptimes under the valid laprecord during practice. In the qualification Adrian Berntsen manage to put together a fantastic run with the first 34 lap run on this fast track. With only 3 rounds of qualifications in this race no other driver was able to make a 34 lap run. After the tree runs of qualification we saw Adrian Berntsen in front of Xray driver Lars Haugen followed by Frode Rasch Olsen.

For the final 45 minutes Lars and Adrian had a different tire strategy. Adrian started on softer tires and planed to change half way. Lars planed to use just one set of tires with harder shore to last the entire 45minutes final. It was exiting to see witch tactic that would work out best in the end.
The final got a clean start and it was clear that is was going to be a fast run. Adrian was fastest in the start and pulled away. Lars was fastest towards the end of the race but was never able to challange Adrian for the win. There were no major incidents in the race and the top drivers was able to get a clean run with only a few small mistakes. In the end Adrian won and set a new final record of amazingly 205 laps with two laps in front of Lars 203 laps. Finally the finalrecord from EC-A 2003 of 199 laps (Massimo Fantini) was broken .
